This page explains what happens to the details you send through the quote form or the message box on this site, and what happens when you visit.

Who we are

BATYL is the trading name of BATY GROUP PTY LTD (ABN 63 686 848 135), a mobile welding and fabrication business in Mandurah, WA. Cavero Labs sets up and runs this site and its quote form for us.

What we collect

When you send the quote form: your name, phone number, email, suburb, the job you need, any details you give, up to 5 photos, and the page you sent it from.

When you send a message through the message box in the corner of the page: your name, mobile number, what you write, and the page you sent it from.

Your IP address is used to stop spam. Cloudflare checks it, and it limits how often the form can be sent from one place.

If you call us, we keep your phone number. If we miss your call, we may text you back.

The map at the bottom of the page

The small map at the bottom of every page is Google's. It loads from Google when you get near the bottom of the page. When it does, Google gets your IP address, this site's address and some details about your browser. Google may also set or read its own cookies. Google is a US company. What it does with that is covered by Google's privacy policy. It can also depend on your own Google settings. We get nothing from the map.

Why we use it

To reply to you, quote the job and follow up on the quote. After a job, we may send one text asking for a review. Reply STOP to any text and we'll stop.

We don't sell your details, and we don't use them for anything else.

Your photos

Location data is removed from your photos before they're sent. They're deleted automatically after 90 days. Until then, anyone with a photo's link can view it. The link is long and random, and only goes to us.

Where it's kept

Your details are kept with two services we use: Cloudflare, which runs this site and stores the photos, and GoHighLevel, which holds enquiries and sends our texts and emails. Both are US companies, so your details may be stored or processed outside Australia. A copy of your enquiry is also emailed to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your details for 2 years after you last contact us, then delete them, including the emailed copy. The exception is anything we have to keep by law, such as an invoice for a job we did.

Seeing, fixing or deleting your details

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, to correct them, or to delete them. Reply to any message we've sent you, call us on 0485 000 827, or send us a message through the form below. We'll get back to you within 30 days.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, tell us what happened: reply to any message we've sent you, call us on 0485 000 827, or use the form below. We'll look into it and get back to you within 30 days. If you're still not happy, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
